Discontinued vehicles of 2013

There are a number of different cars scheduled to be discontinued in 2013. However, this doesn't mean these vehicles will become obsolete. Owners of the following vehicles should still ensure their car insurance coverage is up-to-date, even though they may spend less time on the road with their autos.
The Kia Sedona is one such vehicle that is scheduled for discontinuation next year, according to AutoGuide.com. However, minivan lovers shouldn't fret. Instead, the manufacturer claims it will be taking a year off from production while the company designs a new and improved model for 2014.
The Jeep Liberty is another vehicle that will no longer be produced after the end of this year. Introduced in 2001, sales in the first few years were promising, but the model has since caught flak from consumers for being noisy and cramped, the website said.
General Motors is gearing up to launch the next generation of pickup trucks, and as a result, the Chevrolet Avalanche is getting the axe, AutoGuide.com reports. Sales numbers for the Avalanche have been less than impressive during recent years, which may be due to rising fuel prices and increased competition in the pickup truck market.
